Prefer Combipatch (estradiol and norethindrone): Most importantly because it is a patch vs a pill, sometimes for an individual though, one may be better tolerated that the other and one may be more effective than the other. All things being equal, topical therapy is preferable for relief of menopause symptoms. However, Prempro (conjugated estrogens and medroxyprogesterone) is probably more protective for osteoporosis
