Get checked: It is possible to be infected with Chlamydia and have no symptoms at all! In the meantime, risk of transferring the infection to others is present. Your gynecologist can easily screen you for this in the doctor office.

Is it normal to have more painful and heavier periods after having chlamydia? Am now chlamydia free.

Not necessarily: Your change in menstrual flow and presence of cramps may have nothing to do with your having had chlamydia. If this continues and proves to be disturbing, go see an ob/gyn doctor.
