Is it possible for signs/symptoms of chlamydia to take almost a year to show up in a female?

Chlamydia: Some std's like chlamydia may start insidiously and the symptoms often mimic an exaggerated vaginal discharge. Pain and fever often develops late in the disease when the condition is advanced. In a significant amount of patients, the infectious agent is found only during a routine check-up. This makes it difficult to pinpoint the exact time one got the disease.

Some never know: Some women (up to 1/2) have chlamydia with few or no apparent symptoms & find out on a random office visit.
