Get it checked: It is not unusual for the pattern of a woman's menstrual cycle to vary. The duration and amount of bleeding that occurs during a cycle can be affected by a number of things; including stress (physical or emotional), increased exercise, or weight loss. Menstrual blood flow can also be affected by thyroid disease and anemia. It is probably a good idea to be evaluated by a doctor.
