Irregular menses: I assume when you say normal periods that were regular for 3 months and then the last period was 5 days late, but you did have one. A late menses can be due to a number of factors: including pregnancy, hormonal factors, stress and others. If the pregnancy test is negative one can continue to observe,. If your next period is irregular or late an appointment with your doctor.
