Do the supplements 5-htp and l-tyrosine affect the birth control pill? i am on levlen (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) ed. i'm taking the supplements due to my anxiety and depression.

Ask your OB: I don't see these meds on the contraindication list for this combination pill, but I think the prescribing doctor should have explained what to avoid if you told them what medications you are currently taking. Just to make sure, ask the prescribing OB GYN if this is alright
