You just need one egg in order to get pregnant. She should keep track of her period and if there is any irregularity with it the should get pregnancy test.

No: Having sex on the 3 days before ovulation is a good way to get pregnant. That's how people usually get pregnant. No need to think about it now, but if the next normal, regular period does not come (is a week late), then one can do a urine pregnancy test at that time to see if there is a baby on the way. Urine pregnancy tests are sold everywhere.
