Very good: Sperm live for 2-3 days in the uterus and fallopian tubes, so if you have unprotected sex the day before you ovulate you can definitely get pregnant. With a fertile man and a fertile woman, the chance of a clinical pregnancy is about 1 in 8. So if you don't want to be pregnant the odds are in your favor. But if you do this over and over you will eventually be pregnant, most likely.

Won't harm: Taking Progesterone while in the first trimester doesn't cause any harm, not all doctors will necessarily check a level before prescribing.
