Pain, bleeding: Most anal tumors would cause one of two major symptoms or signs. Pain or bleeding. Others would be itching or feeling a new lump or bump when wiping. I know it sounds unusual but it is helpful to take a mirror while on the toilet and look between the legs. Always if you are concerned you need to be checked by a health care professional
