Not certain.: When you say "near the vulva, do you mean "in the pubic area" or "on the outer labia"? Itchy lesions in the pubic area can be caused by insect bites (including flea bites and pubic lice,ugh!). Itching in the vaginal or labial area can be caused by an allergic reaction or a yeast infection. If they don't clear up in a day or so, or if you notice other symptoms, get medical care.
