What are the chances of getting genital herpes from someone who said he has not had any outbreak in years?

Not infrequent: Once you have been infected with either herpes simplex type 1 or 2, they are like squatters and refuse eviction. They remain in your body for life and may be shed in secretions without symptoms. Males are less likely to transmit in this fashion than women, but do you want to play with odds?
