Discuss PCP: Hard to answer without all the growth information ( including height) in the months between birth and current weight. The weight velocity really isn't too bad although it has slowed some. This really is something to discuss with his PCP since he has all the information.

See Your Doctor Now: 5 mos old, less appetite x 2 mos, "poop frothy/muscous". Your son's birth wt of 3 kg was 25th %, 5 mos wt is 2nd % by growth chart. His poor wt gain, anorexia, & stools are indicative of a digestive tract anomaly. Lack of nutrition regardless of cause leads to delayed growth/development, infections, nutrient deficiencies, & more. See you doctor immediately for correct diagnosis & treatment.
