Of course you could!: Although typically the most fertile day is 14 days before your expected period (monthly), the exact time of ovulation can vary widely from woman to woman and even from one cycle to the next in the same woman. If you do not want to be pregnant, use birth control!! If you are worried that you might be pregnant, do a home pregnancy test one week after a "missed" period. If it is negative, do it again
