Can't say: Lexapro (escitalopram) and other SSRIs are known to cause sweating, especially at night, & impaired sex drive. Remeron (mirtazapine) (mirtazepine) doesn't have these side-effects — but instead it can cause significant weight gain and excessive sedation. It's impossible for anyone online to tell you what treatment is a "better choice." You have to discuss the pros & cons with your doctor.
