See your doctor: You could have a benign cyst or something more serious. The best thing to do is to have a urologist examine the lump and follow up with an ultrasound.

Varicocoele: It sounds like a varicoceles, which is a common condition, which is enlargement of the veins within your scrotum. Similar to the varicose veins in the leg, this condition is a benign condition, which develops over time, and can cause pain. It can feel like a bag of worms, increase pain with prolonged sitting, standing, or increase physical exertion. It typically hurts towards end of the day.
