Better safe than...: First things first. From this point forward protected sex with any and all partners. That means a condom & a vagicide with women, etc. And knowing your partner is a good thing to keep in mind. Whether male, female, transgender. I rarely advise folks to run out and see a physician or have an evaluation, but unprotected "sex" of any kind warrants a visit. Too many possibilities out there to ignore.
