I have spotting either randomly and after intercourse. i'm negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia, what could it be? also negative on pap smear.

Consider gyn doctor: Although pap smear was negative, was the gyn exam otherwise normal? Did you start birth control pills recently? Depending on duration, pattern, and timing of the spotting, this may be normal or abnormal. Would recommend gyn doctor evaluation, as you may need further medical exam.
