Hemorrhoid: Your description sounds like a hemorrhoid. A swollen blood vessel in the rectum or anal area. A high fiber diet and laxatives, such as castor oil, can help to prevent straining while defacating which can help. A topical medication such as preparation h can help with symptoms.
