A thrombosed: (clotted) hemorrhoid is the most likely diagnosis. This is due to blood clotting in one of the small veins surrounding the anal opening (external) or rectum (internal) The ONLY way of being sure is an exam. Your Family Physician, GYN or PCP will be able to tell.. and suggest treatment!
