Unlikely an STD: Any irregular or excessive bleeding that is different from what you usually experience should be discussed with a doctor. It might be a normal process related to aging or weight gain, but you want to make sure that it isn't anything worse, like an infection or cancer. Start tracking your bleeding on a calendar to help your doctor understand what's going on.
