I have a cyst on my ovary, it is 3.8 cm 2.4 cm 3.2 cm . it contains blood. a doctor prescribed that i use depo-provera provera (medroxyprogesterone). would that shrink the cyst?

No: Cysts go away on their own over time usually 4-8 weeks. Deprovera is not involved in cyst resolution.
