HPV vs folliculitis: Ingrown hairs should have some fluid, pus or material inside the little bumps. Bumps should all be about the same size and centered on a hair. Shaving is a common cause. Warts are different. They have a velvety surface and come in different sizes and shapes. They are solid - there is nothing inside them.
