Does thyroid problem prevent pregnancy?

Yes: Hyperthyroidism can cause infertility issues . , it can cause an imbalance in the reproductive systems functioning. Also there's a link between hypothyroidism and infertility. Low levels of thyroid hormone can interfere with the release of an egg from your ovary (ovulation), in addition, some of the underlying causes of hypothyroidism —autoimmune or pituitary disorders — may impair fertility.
