A member asked:

Can i prevent most problems with pregnancy at age 40?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Too non specific a ?: If you are in good health u can prevent a lot of things but no one can predict the future obviously you will want to make sure the chromosomes are normal, u can discuss with your OB what testing would be involved before u get preg and get a general physical before u get preg to make sure u have no undiagnosed problems like elevated BP , etc.
