Cold sores: These are often due to herpes simplex, and if scratched or irritated may bleed. Generally quite painful and tender. Do not know what you have without seeing them but it might help if you went to see a doctor. Good luck.

Yes: Any open sore can bleed in the end with pressure as there are some blood vessels there. We don't recommend you popping them as this may cause risk of infection in an open sore.
