Yes: You will come into contact with the fungus causing the jock itch, just as you would if you shared a bathroom floor with someone who had athlete's foot. However, that kind of fungus is very common anyway, and coming into contact with it doesn't mean you'll get an infection from it. If you do, it's easy enough to treat.
