Oral lesions that: Are cancerous can be red, white, pink, dark brown, ulcerated, raised or flat, irregular or well circumscribed, ulcerated, smooth, etc. If you have concerns or you can see a suspicious lesion in or around your mouth, please seek an exam w your dentist or an oral surgeon very soon.

Ulcer: Mostly an ulcer, shallow or deep. Can also be a lump, a red or white area. May not be painful.
