A member asked:

Is yogurt bad for gerd?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily : While there are some foods known to increase gerd symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation by lowering the pressure in the valve at the bottom of the esophagus, this is variable among people. Therefore, if the yogurt doesn't make your symptoms worse, go ahead and have it - moderation of course.
