A member asked:

Is throat pain and toothache the same?

Not really: But an infected tooth (especially a lower molar) can have an abscess that spreads to the throat area. There are many causes for a sore throat, however, so you should go to a local dentist or physician to be evaluated.

NO: Tooth ache are of dental origin. Throat pain could be both dental and/or medical origin. Treat the source, not the symptom.

Nope: Tooth pain is from your teeth, throat pain is from your throat. They most likely are not related.
