See your dentist: While taking narcotics without supervision is not recommended it is best to take something like Motrin or Tylenol (acetaminophen). My advice is to find a dentist to treat your tooth. If you have an infection it can spread quickly and the pain can get worse.

What you can take, that will be extremely effective, isn a call to your Den test. Most toothaches are caused by infection. Pain killers do not treat infection, only partially block pain signals as the infection continues to worsen. You need actual dental treatment to address the infection. The sooner you call the Dentist, the you can be pain free.
