A member asked:

Is it possible to have cramps when you are in menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Assuming we're sure they're not cramps coming from your urinary or gastrointestinal tracts, sometimes the cervical opening closes in a woman after menopause. The uterine lining still produces a slight amount of fluid-like discharge and it wants to get out. Until the cervical opening gives, there could be some minor crampy sensation as the uterus tries to expel it.
