Overdoing it ?: If you just joined a gym and are doing all those exercises without gradually easing your way into an exercise regimen, you are overdoing it. You may have pulled a muscle, but if you are spotting you should definitely see your gyn if you are menopausal. Any bleeding after menopause is abnormal until proven otherwise.

1year without a period due to ovarian loss of estrogen is menopause. Though unlikely, if you have been a year without a period talk to your GYN about an endometrial biopsy to rule out endometrial cancer. Don't panic, we do a lot of biopsies and rarely find cancer.
