Motion and therapy: Internal scar formation can occur after significant injury or surgery. If the scar formation cannot be overcome with standard motion and strengthening surgery (and perhaps local steroid injection), an arthrscopic lysis of adhesions may become warranted. Discuss options with your orthopaedic surgeon.
