Systemic Rx: Acne on the trunk usually requires systemic treatment. A regimen such a topical benzoyl peroxide plus tetracycline 500 2x/day might be sufficient; don't use an antibiotic as sole therapy. If your acne is severe, and you are offered isotretinoin, consider accepting -- it's not for the faint-hearted but most people are extremely pleased with the results.
