OTC acne treatments: First, wash your face with a mildly exfoliative (not mechanically like grit) soap, using onlly your fingers and working in circles going up. Rinse with just water and pat dry. As to products, look for the following ingredients in the product: benzoyl peroxide salicylic acid alpha hydroxy acids sulfur in general, start with them in that order but feel free to experiment.
