A member asked:

Could this be a case of eye strain if more floaters all of a sudden?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Eye strain can cause visual blurring, discomfort and redness. Floaters are internal and not caused by eyestrain. If you have many all at once, and especially if accompanied by light flashes or changes in vision, you should see an ophthalmologist as quick as possible.
