See a dentist ASAP: A gum infection won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. See your dentist ASAP.

Dangerous!: Infections can spread fast and cause serious complications. See a dentist right away to treat the cause of the infection and prescribing an antibiotic. If you can't get an appointment right away, consider a 24/7 medical facility to at least limit the chances of rapid and dangerous spread of the infection.
