Multiple causes: The most common cause of hypoglycemia (low blood glucose) is use of diabetes drugs (such as Insulin or sulfonylureas). There are also many other forms of hypoglycemia: due to organ underfunctioning (adrenal, pituitary, heart, liver, kidney, thyroid), other drugs (beta blockers, salicylates, etc), tumors (insulin- and non-insulin secreting), post-meal (dumping syndrome, reactive), among others....
