Unlikely AAA: Abdominal aortic aneurysm is very rare in 18 year old. The observation you notice that the pain only last 3 seconds also lessens the chance of aaa. Your primary care doctor can assess the size of your aorta on physical exam the next time you visit. A thorough history to see if any family members had a AAA will be important. Hope this helps.
