Yes: Computers are great tools to support learning - and there is lots to learn in med school. Increasingly, tablet computers are being used in place of laptops. Pcs and macs are both effective, some schools offer applications that work better with one or the other.

Need good laptop: Yes, you will need a good computer and computer skills to get through med. School. Either PC or mac is fine. First you have to get through college with excellent grades, to get into med. School. Hope it all works out for you.
