Colic: The problem is usually not the formula, but you may try a lactose-free formula or a special formula such as alimentum. A med like zantac (ranitidine) may be used. Colic is a development stage-babies cry. They swallow more air with crying. Try frequent burping, slow down feedings, try rocking/walking/swaddling and other soothing. Don't panic! colic doesn't cause harm; it's just frustrating.
