It's normal: As soon as milk hits the acid in the stomach it curdles and smells terrible, but if your baby is happy, growing and has soft poops she doesn't need any medicine or a change in formula. It is only when babies are in pain from spitting up that we give antacid medicine and unfortunately it does not stop them from spitting up. Sitting her up for a half hour after she eats and burping well does help.
