Are amaglam fillings safe during 3rd trimester will it harm my baby just got 2 yesterday?

Amalgam is safe: Although it's a controversial topic, according to the american dental association, and the most current well done studies, there is no evidence of any harm to either you or your baby. Personally, i don't place amalgam fillings in my office anymore, because there are such great tooth colored materials available now. However, if you were my patient i would tell you not to worry or lose any sleep!
