Can you tell me are silver amalgam fillings or white resin fillings safer for health?

Both safe: Silver amalgam fillings have been around over 150 years and no conclusive evidence or study ever to my knowledge on them not being safe. Composite fillings newer and considered safe but have not stood the same test of time. Both have had controversies concerning their safety. I would have either in my mouth without any concern! air, water. Food and just living is not 100% safe.

Both are fine: Neither restorative material is detrimental to your health.

No difference: Both materials are safe and durable. They both have advantages and disadvantages and indications of use.
