Depends!: Age related macular degeneration (amd) is a common cause of vision loss in the "retiree age group." while sun exposure is a recognized risk factor for amd, it is by far not the strongest. Genetic predisposition (or family history) is perhaps the strongest risk factor. Being caucasian of northern european descent is the other major risk factor. Modifiable risk factors include smoking, nutrition.

Maybe: This may already be the "dry" (nonexudative) form of age-related macular degeneration. You need to see a retina specialist. Try www.Asrs.Org to find one locally.

Need more info: The yellow spots need more clarification. If they are drusen, then you are very likely in the early stages of macular degeneration. See an ophthalmologist and consider starting prophylaxis with fish oil and eye vitamins.
