Conjunctivitis: If your eyes hurt and and the conjunctiv are red, consult an ophthamologist. You may have a viral conjunctivitis that may need other treatment.

Yes: See the doctor for a different treatment. Gentamicin can sometimes make eye irritation worse instead of better.
