What is the treatment for infection of the back of the eye?

Depends on cause: Infextiins inside the eye, or within the retina in the back of the eye are not common, and have many causes. Some respond to antibiotics, some need antivirals....You need to have an eye doctor tell i the cause, then the appropriate treatment.
