Infection: Sometimes this type of eye infection can be caused by dry eyes. The physician will probably reevaluate you in 2 days, which is the reason for the 2 days worth of gentamicin eye drops. If the gentamicin is going to work, you will most likely see improvement within 24 hours.

Eye infection : Gentamicin is not a good choice for an eye infection. If it is chosen, it should be used 4 times a day for 5-7 days at a minimum.
