Interesting ?: If you are choosing to chew ice as a substitute for getting the recommended amount of water you need everyday, that should be okay. However, chewing ice, or specifically craving the chew ice, is often associated with iron deficiency anemia. So, if you feel like you need to do it, you might want to bring it up with your doctor to see if you need to be tested for this.
