How much water should i be drinking so i don't get dehydrated? i always heard eight 8oz glasses, but i've also recently heard that might be too much since food contains water too. i want to avoid dehydration, so which is more accurate?

Drink : Drink if you are thirsty. Unless you have kidney stones, there is no need to drink more if you are not thirsty. Forcing yourself to drink can cause problems. The idea of 8 eight ounce glasses per day is not supported by current science and is not recommended by any experts. Drinking this much makes you spend more time in the bathroom and can mess up your blood chemistry.
